Video of The Day: King Tuff
There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.
I can't actually believe it's been four years since there was new King Tuff music to be heard, but that's not fake news. Thankfully, Kyle Thomas is ready to bring some new sounds to our ears.
"Psycho Star" ditches the raw, T. Rex-ian swagger of his last record (the excellent Black Moon Spell) and instead goes in a wonderful sort of contemplative, late 70s soul groove direction, somewhere in the same neighborhood as "Fly Like An Eagle" and "Superstition." I can definitely dig it. The video plays along, full of camp, misdirection, and dancing devils. Because why not.
