Delightfully dark and urgent, "Override" is a great introduction to the sounds of Big Bliss. This is a song that's skillfully balanced between shadow and light, though the unrelenting, frenetic drums and ripping guitar help steer the song into primarily inky, murky places.

Oh, "White Noise." Oh, the things CHAPPO does on "White Noise." There's so much fantastic kookiness going on, it's hard to know which end is up and which pill one has swallowed. Slinky, oddball, and probably a lot darker than it might sound, "White Noise" is a nugget to end all nuggets, a trippy truth-telling in tongues.

With smoky synths and smokier vocals, Kodacrome's "Think of The Children" is instantly intriguing. The song at times recalls the electro sorcery of Hot Chip, while Elissa LeCoque's vocals add an element of something spectral. And always there's a sense of something just about to happen, a heightened anticipation.
