Video of The Day: Caroline Rose
There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.
I just can't resist the tongue-in-cheek bombast of Caroline Rose's scuzz pop "Soul No. 5." Inspired by and voices from the point of view of those boring catcallers we ladies all know and don't love, the song is both snarky and incredibly catchy. The video is cheeky, campy perfection, a fitting visual to match the song's satirical sass. And be advised that Ms. Rose is gearing up for a springtime tour across the US, so keep your eyes out for her visit to your burg.
