Singles Club: Bonny Doon + Bummerville + Hockey Dad

Consider Singles Club your musical matchmaker. I do hope you'll give all these ready to mingle bachelors and bachelorettes your ear as you listen to some new favorite tunes. Read on in the hopes of finding your musical love connection.

From Detroit comes Bonny Doon and their ambling, introspective dirt road nugget "I Am Here (I Am Alive)." "Just wanna be where I'm going," the song proclaims, perpetually moving amidst a wash of dappled golden AM radio luster. From the forthcoming Longwave, out March 23 on the divine Woodsist.

"C U Gone" is the short and sour little ditty from Chicago's Bummerville. Full of grit and scuzz, the song has a warped pop feel with all that boisterous noise packed into just under two minutes. It's a bit of a mess, and it shouldn't be any other way.

There's a bit of Teen Spirit to be found in the riffage of Hockey Dad's fist-pumper "I Wanna Be Everybody." Born out of social frustration, the song coats vexation in an addictive infectiousness, the duo from Down Under turning their frowns into a serious good time.
