Video of The Day: Ezra Furman
There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.
I've already gushed a little about this here Ezra Furman gem, but seeing as there's an official video for "Love You So Bad" it's time to talk about the song a bit more. From the forthcoming Transangelic Exodus, Furman's song is a treasure.
The video, directed by Joseph Brett, is a lyric video with added artistic appeal. An array of ephemera and other mementos nail the sentimental feel of the song, while not pulling focus away from Furman's yearning warble. Based on how glorious this song is, it isn't much of a stretch to imagine this record turning up on a lot of Best of 2018 lists.
