Video of The Day: Heat Wave

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

When it comes to Melbourne twosome Heat Wave, you can leave the sugar and spice at home. With "The Silence" the duo takes us on a sneering, goth fantasyland fairytale, all dark synths and dissonance (though, underneath it all, rather poppy). The accompanying video is a twisted, over the top rush of color, the exaggerated colors in perfect harmony with the clamor of the song.
