Video of The Day: Future Islands

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

That the video for "Beauty of The Road" is a compilation of live shots from various Future Islands gigs makes sense, once you consider that the Baltimore outfit has spent about a third of 2017 touring.

The video captures the live essence of Future Islands with this engaging mix of slow motion shots and perfectly-timed snippets. The song is, as may well have been expected, incredibly catchy while also feeling raw and weighty with so much mixed emotion. Very, very recommended.
