Video of The Day: The Babe Rainbow

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's been (yet another) really shit news day, so I doubt I'm alone in needing a bit of a pick-me-up. All I can say is thank the music-making heavens above for The Babe Rainbow.

Their video for "Monky Disco" is everything I needed to cleanse my mental palate: crazy wonderful dance moves, saturated 70s colors, and a psychedelic dance party song with a beat that won't quit. Oh, and maracas. Those happy, happy maracas.
