Video of The Day: Methyl Ethel

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Lately I am constantly finding my day invaded by Methyl Ethel's "Ubu" popping into my head - which isn't a bad thing, mind you. It's one of my favorite songs of the entire year, hands down. Hence, since I'm pretty much obsessed with this particular song, I thought I'd do my best to make sure you were, too.

The song's video is oooh-missus avant garde, with a simple color palette of black and white and some double take-inducing visual effects. With a song this strong, they really could have done anything from a visual standpoint, but I'm still in full support of the artistic direction.
