THE WEEK IN SHOWS: 12/11/17-12/17/17

The first kinda sorta snowy Saturday in December seems as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, shall we? Hot diggity!

As I write this, friends, there's some white stuff falling out of the sky. The official start of winter is still a week and a half or so away, but I think we can all agree that with these cold temps and tiny bit of snow that winter has arrived. I have a love-hate relationship with snow, it's true, only because at least once a year it gets in the way of something. Hopefully it won't get in the way of any of the great shows coming to town this winter. And now, without further ado, here's a look at some of the shows I happen to recommend for the coming week in the greater DC metro area.
