Video of The Day: Escape-Ism

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Local legend Ian Svenonius is at it once again, making some serious sonic sturm und drang with his Escape-Ism venture. This is Svenonius flying solo, and in "Walking In The Dark" his ghoulishly catchy, spookily sinuous undulations are peppered with thunderstorm effects for a kooky kick. The video's mod noir effects in black and white are just perfect to go along with this gem.
