Video of The Day: Oh Sees

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Reminiscent of a particular type of 1980s video game featuring knights and quests and hordes of grotesque creatures, the video for "Nite Expo" is a fantastical, kooky ride. Animated and directed by Alex Theodoropulos, the misadventures of our green-eyed protagonist are in tune with the technicolor psych noise of the wonderful Oh Sees. John Dwyer may have dropped the "Thee" from the project's name, but the smart, shambolic racket is still going strong.
