With a very T. Rex-esque kind of grimy glam swagger, Dan Rico's "Flesh & Bone" hits the spot. This Chicago fellow plays up the pop along with the grit, and the result is rather addictive.  



Austin duo Hovvdy's ode to anxiety, hindsight, and understanding, "Late," is a testament to the twosome's shared love of quiet music. There's some intensity, though, in "Late," a soft insistence that commands attention.  



Georgia boys Small Reactions are back with a heck of a new song. "Dinner Song" is played with an urgency, and this breathless pop tart treasure hits the sweetest of spots with a marriage of 60s jangle and 80s angularity (with some modern day bombast thrown in for good measure). Pure dynamite.
