Singles Club: Cones + HOLY + NVDES

Consider Singles Club your musical matchmaker. I do hope you'll give all these ready to mingle bachelors and bachelorettes your ear as you listen to some new favorite tunes. Read on in the hopes of finding your musical love connection.

With "Later," California boys Cones wanted to harness "that moment in a breakup when you finally start to find peace, but some of that bitterness is still hanging around." This sentiment has certainly connected with me, and with the shimmery, dappled sunshine dreaminess this duo creates it's easy to get lost in that maddeningly magical middleground.

Listen to this one loud, y'all. Swedish stargazer HOLY (Hannes Ferm) has tapped into all things wacky and wonderful with his new nugget "Heard Her," a prismatic pendulum of psych rock with a bounty that knows no bounds. Listen more than once, as you'll definitely hear new sounds each time you do. Keep an eye on this celestial PNKSLM signee, without a doubt.

The more I hear from NVDES, the more I like. With "D.Y.T. (Do Your Thing)," the LA outfit recruited REMMI to provide salacious, nasty gal vocals that get good and steamy against big, throwback beats. And really, don't we all need someone who can hit the spot? It's sass with style, and it's catchy as all get out.
