Singles Club: Bazooka + Canshaker Pi + Vacations

Consider Singles Club your musical matchmaker. I do hope you'll give all these ready to mingle bachelors and bachelorettes your ear as you listen to some new favorite tunes. Read on in the hopes of finding your musical love connection.

Athenian facemelters Bazooka are at it again with "Zougla," a jungle-jangled piece of perfectly filthy psych pandemonium. It's all a bit unhinged, but in the best possible way. As usual, there's an air of the unexpected here, because with Bazooka you're never quite sure what's going to happen next.

You should be able to hear one of Canshaker Pi's biggest influences pretty early on in "Pressure From Above." There's more to these Dutch slacker popsters than just an affinity for Pavement, mind you. Full of vim and vigor, this little nugget is undeniably catchy, and is well worth your time.

Lo-fi Aussie loves Vacations keep it sunbeamed and shimmering on the dreamy "Moving Out." Of course, it's not as tranquil a song as it sounds, but isn't that so often the case? Makes for a lovely listen indeed. Keep an eye on Vacations, they're slated to play next year's SXSW and do their first Euro tour.
