Video of The Day: Night Idea

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Night Idea's "Canopy" video is all sorts of creepy, y'all. Shot in the uncomfortable desolation of a stunning desert ghost town, this clip is full of surprises, and is pretty much perfect for Halloween week. As for the song itself, the RVA outfit's sound is out there, existing in some kind of proggy, tripped out time warp. Even without the video, "Canopy" is rather eerie, a many-tentacled mind bender.
