Video of The Day: Everything Everything

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

There are certain moments in Everything Everything's "Night of The Long Knives" that actually give my goosebumps (please refer to 1:40, and related moments). The atmospheric, dramatic swells calls to mind the wolfish intensity of Foals, and even without the historical reference there's quite a weight to the song. The video is glitchy like an old school security camera is glitchy, and somehow that feels totally right for capturing the band's performance of this firecracker.

The 9:30 Club tee just puts it over the top.
