Video of The Day: Massive Attack

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Thinking back to all of the walking I did over the past two weeks (So. Much. Walking) makes my mind wander to music videos that involve a good stroll. Obviously, there's the perennial favorite "Bittersweet Symphony," but before Richard Ashcroft and his cheekbones did some angry walking down London streets there was Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy." The video is like a time capsule of the very tip of the 1990s, and the song is, for me, one of Massive Attack's best and most timeless works - penetrating, haunting, and terribly hard to listen to just once.
