Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #6: Shepherds

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

There's plenty of good bands in Atlanta these days, and you'd better add Shepherds to that list. Their jangling, nervy guitar pop is raw and full of lyrical substance to go along with the snappy sonic style. Go see these dudes to get something even more than just a good time.
