Video of The Day: The Breaks

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I was hooked on "Honey" almost immediately. Like countless songs before it, The Breaks have concocted a gem that's not nearly as sweet as it sounds, cut through with serious bite. Fuzzed up and full of wonderful, blistering clamor, the heavenly "Honey" is sure to become a favorite. The video is a perfect fit for a Friday, following folks around on nights out (pub, club, party, repeat). All told, a mighty fine effort for a band that hasn't been together for more than a few months.
