Video of The Day: Alex Napping

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

This isn't the Barbie dream house, y'all. In Alex Napping's "You've Got Me," it's an entirely different dollhouse altogether. As the Austin band's robust, sludgy noise churns along, capped by Alex Cohen's breathy bite, the band acts out as dolls gone bad (though these are some dolls who sure know how to cut loose). This "personal account of the frenzied and overwhelming nature of sexual tension" is not only incredibly relatable, but it's incredibly addictive. Watch now, listen often.
