Video of The Day: Mellow Gang

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

With the spectral, sumptuous "Vendetta," London's Mellow Gang creates quite a heady, hypnotic psych pop sound. Lush layers of noise and smoky, knowing vocals make this an utterly transfixing listen. The accompanying video is just the right amount of disorienting, with saturated colors and band closeups simple but effective visuals.
