Video of The Day: The Black Angels

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

CAUTION: SERIOUSLY DIZZYING VISUALS. WATCH WITH CAUTION. 

A friend of mine recently posted a query on Facebook about what songs we his friends find emblematic of the scary times in which we live. I made a few suggestions, but thinking more about it, I nominate pretty much all of The Black Angels' body of work. "Currency," from new album Death Song, features another scathing psychedelic assault on the greed-driven machinations of the powers that be. The visualizer for the song is a great companion piece, all disorienting swirls and flashes. 

But seriously, don't watch it if you've got any serious conditions that are set off by intense visuals.
