Good Cover Version: Tristen Does The Eagles

Pulp gave the world the song "Bad Cover Version." But seeing as I'm a sonic optimist, I'm of the belief that there's more likely than not more good cover versions floating around than bad ones. Good Cover Version celebrates the good, and leaves all that bad and ugly stuff alone.

I'm definitely not what you'd call an Eagles fan by any means, but I don't mind "Peaceful Easy Feeling." It's got some seriously lovely tenderness and some twang, both of which appeal to me. For her part of the Instant Records Instant Love series, Nashville singer-songwriter Tristen takes on the Eagles classic, adding a wistful, dreamy vibe to the song while staying true to the original. It's quite a charming little cover indeed.
