Video of The Day: Heavy Heart

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

London's Heavy Heart takes a decidedly 90s-inspired tilt in their video for the charming "Fruitfly," one of those songs that sounds full of fuzzy sweetness and light but underneath is anything but. Against a backdrop of beans, pills, and soda, the band waxes less than nostalgic about family life. The sugar rush of the song has a bit of a bite besides being ridiculously catchy. Well played indeed.
