Video Of The Day: Gabriella Cohen

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Take a moment to check out this video for Gabriella Cohen's "Beaches," won't you? The song hits so many deliciously fuzzed, wanderlustful psych pop notes, and the video is rather scenic too. Cohen's jangling hints at Velvet Underground Sunday Mornings, and the song is so very daydreamy. Sweet dance moves, too, y'all. Keep your eye out for the reissue of Cohen's Full Closure and No Details, released by Captured Tracks on March 3.
