Video Of The Day: The Datsuns

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's hard to believe this video is 15 years old, because it still resonates as loudly as it did back in 2002. With "Harmonic Generator" New Zealand's The Datsuns flexed their retro rock muscle, all big riffs and swagger and vocal  machismo. Guest vocals were courtesy the ladies of Detroit's The Von Bondies. The video for the song is an assault on the eyes with bold, bright color and beer goggle effects. All told, as far as I'm concerned this video is a modern classic.
