Singles Club: RAAVE TAPES + French Vanilla + Imaginary People

Consider Singles Club your musical matchmaker. I do hope you'll give all these ready to mingle bachelors and bachelorettes your ear as you listen to some new favorite tunes. Read on in the hopes of finding your musical love connection.

In the brash vein of Death From Above 1979, Aussies RAAVE TAPES wreak more than a little havoc in their "2 U xoxo." A diabolically perfect storm that's perfect for blasting through your speakers.

From the land of movie stars comes French Vanilla, fiery and tempestuous art punk with a much-needed feminist edge. "Anti-Aging Global Warming" is full of dissonant art punk, with a lean, off-kilter rhythm and insolent lady vocals.

There's a definite theatrical quality to Imaginary People's "Fresh Kill," not to mention a bit of macabre brazenness. With scene-stealing vocals and a sense of impending doom, this is quite a spine-chillingly good show from these New Yorkers.
