Video Of The Day: The Head and The Heart

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I think we've all had a moment where we've felt like the proverbial deer in headlights on a seedy Vegas stage somewhere way off the Strip. Maybe not exactly, but that sense of isolation and discomfort that feels as though you're sweating it out under the glare of a brutal spotlight while ne'er-do-wells cast pitying looks in your direction. And then, just like that, the spell is broken, and you can bust all sorts of moves and really have a moment. It's a sentiment The Head and The Heart captures in their cinematic video for the divine "Rhythm & Blues," a song that's just plain lovely.
