The Week In Shows: 1/23/17-1/29/17

An overcast, blah kind of Saturday afternoon seems as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, shall we? Hot diggity!

One day down, many to go. But hearing about the events of today give me hope for surviving the next few years. Given that an attack on all things art is probably coming soon, I encourage everyone to get out and see live music, go to museums, and, of course, make some kind of art yourself. We will not be bullied into giving up what matters to us. And now, without further ado and stepping down from my soapbox, here's a look at some of the shows I happen to recommend for the coming week in the DC metro.
