Music lovers of a certain age will appreciate Snowball ii's nod to the clamorous indie of the 1990s. The brainchild of Jackson Wargo, this LA product is full of frolicsome "oohs" and jaunty guitar tomfoolery, while also delivering a dynamite lo-fi noise. A firecracker of a song, "Groan's" is highly recommended. 




Like GOAT partying on the darker side of the Moon, Here Lies Man brings together black magic beats with a fearsome central riff. Founder Marcos Garcia of Antibalas here indulges in some fantastically compelling sonic contortions.
