Singles Club: Fancey

Not content to rest on his New Pornographers laurels, Todd Fancey has gone all side project on us, and if "Baby Sunshine" is indicative of what's to come I'd say we're all in for a grand time.

Sounding like a roller rink all-skate number straight out of the mid-70s, Fancey's "Baby Sunshine" is a gloriously groovy little ditty. This honeyed, harmonica-loving nugget is a throwback to a more sweetly naive time of Breck Girls and flared legs, and is a solid way to turn gray skies blue.
