There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

There's such a sublime, sultry magnetism to Hiss Golden Messenger's "Like A Mirror Loves A Hammer" that a simple video really does the trick. With closeup shots of lead fellow M. C. Taylor and golden-lit undulations by a lady dancer in kaleidoscope duplication, Taylor's simmering soulfulness and the haunted energy rule the show.
