Singles Club: Permit

If you're feeling a bit groggy this morning, don't fret. Bloomington, Indiana's two-headed wakeup call Permit will make sure you're wide awake in no time.

The second song to be released from their song title-averse Vol. 1 EP (out December 2 on Fat Possum), "Track #6" is a skittering, controlled but calamitous high-speed demon. Fuzz, power pop, and an unrelenting beat make this song a heck of a firecracker. This, friends, is a track that will drag you out of bed and then some.
