October 2: Kula Shaker Day

I can still remember, many moons ago, local radio station WHFS decreeing a Kula Shaker Day as the band attempted a US takeover with their nostalgic, good time psych earfuls. 

Fast forward quite a few years, and I'm continuing the tradition of a Kula Shaker Day. The band is in town tonight, gracing the stage over at the U Street Music Hall, and I'll be there once again reveling in the delightfully eccentric noise of Crispian Mills and co. Reunions like this are most certainly worthy of their own day, in my humble opinion.
