Video of The Day: Gurr

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I pretty much love everything about Gurr's song "Walnuts." From the ever-so-slightly fuzzed jangle of their Euro surf rock to the Susanna Hoffs-esque vocals, the song is a perfect adieu to summer. The video sees the Gurr gals driving through German roads on the way to play a show, frolicking along the way. The clip definitely captures the vibe of the song, and both are well worth cozying up to.
