Good Cover Version: Moving Panoramas Does Elvis Presley

Pulp gave the world the song "Bad Cover Version." But seeing as I'm a sonic optimist, I'm of the belief that there's more likely than not more good cover versions floating around than bad ones. Good Cover Version celebrates the good, and leaves all that bad and ugly stuff alone.

Covering Elvis can be tricky, but the ladies of Moving Panoramas have done something rather special to one of the most classic of all the King's classic songs. The Austin lasses keep it simple, blending their alt-gaze dreaminess with the inherent pop prettiness of "Can't Help Falling in Love." It's pretty darned magical when you get right down to it.
