Video of The Day: Cellar Doors

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

If there's one thing I'm always in the mood for, it's psych. But take that psych, add in some taut, brooding post-punk, and twist it into something layered and haunted, in the manner of Bay Area dandies Cellar Doors, and I'm more than hooked. "Frost" is a doozy of a song, and the video for the song is just perfect. Black and white and pink and deep blue and all manner of visual effects. It's a wonderful backdrop for all that hazy, heavenly clatter.
