Meet Seth Schowalter and The False Witnesses

Seth Schowalter has taken the long road to get here. Currently based in Hyattsville, Schowalter spent some time living in and soaking up the Athens, Georgia scene. That time down South is evident in the way Schowalter's voice tells its tales, all gravel and honey and a little off kilter.

Making the transition from solo bedroom act to full-fledged band, tonight's Velvet Lounge show sees Seth and his False Witnesses make their noise as a trio, shedding some experimental Americana noise light.
