Video of The Day: JJ72
There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.
In honor of a certain holiday, I thought I'd hunt down a clip by one of my most favorite Irish bands, long may they rest. JJ72 was great, in my opinion, all emotive and dramatic and exuberant. "Long Way South" was one of my very favorite songs by the band, punchy and a little spiky and even a little hint of the falsetto singer Mark Greaney was known for. The video itself is a time capsule of what was cool in across the pond indie in the early naughties.
