Video of The Day: Citrine

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Kindlewood was one of my favorite local bands for a while there, and I was so very happy to learn than 2/3 of the band, Kelci and Galen Smith, were working on something new. Under the name Citrine, the two got themselves a drummer and completely revamped their sound. From gorgeous folk to gorgeous, beguiling, ethereal dream pop. "Drum and Drop" is their new one, and the video is a red-clad look at the band as they unleash their newness on the world. For which the world (certainly this small part of it) is thankful.
