Video of The Day: Vandaveer

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

If you happen to find yourself with four minutes and nineteen seconds, I suggest you take that time to watch the new Vandaveer clip for "A Little Time Off Ahead." It's a completely engaging, beguiling, and, ultimately, a little heart-wrenching. The animation of Michael Lloyd is a charming foil for the Vandaveer sound, deceptively chirpy and sweet with the lovely boy-girl vocals firmly in center stage. Get excited, y'all, the release of The Wild Mercury isn't far off now.
