Crossing The Pond: Rosie Carney

There are plenty of good voices out there, to be sure. But special voices, the kind that completely sweeps you off your feet, are a lot less common. And I am of the opinion that Rosie Carney, at just the tender age of 18, has a special voice. 

Innocent but certainly nobody's fool, Carney's voice carries with it ageless melodies and an unexpected matter-of-factness. Hers is the kind of voice that stays with you, sounding somehow as familiar as it does exciting and new. Hopefully there will be much more to come from this young lass, especially after her time at this year's SXSW.
