Good Cover Version: Natalie Prass does Simon & Garfunkel

Pulp gave the world the song "Bad Cover Version." But seeing as I'm a sonic optimist, I'm of the belief that there's more likely than not more good cover versions floating around than bad ones. Good Cover Version celebrates the good, and leaves all that bad and ugly stuff alone.

The kids sure do love them some Natalie Prass, and I'm a rather new conversion. Hearing her golden vocals against a lively backdrop of sound makes her rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" sound just dandy. She's got a voice, that one. If you haven't heard this one yet, stop and give it a go.
