Video of The Day: Boogarins

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I've got to tell y'all, I absolutely and completely adore this video. The video for "6000 Dias" sees Boogarins galavanting all over creation, from east to west, from Joshua trees to skyscrapers, down the road and back again. And all the while, the Brazilian band's magical, nostalgic psych pop shimmers and shimmies along, the mystical and mesmeric noise acting as the perfect soundtrack. It's a slice of life recognizable to many, and a song that brings it on home.
