Video of The Day: Joanna Gruesome

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

In honor of their DC stop tonight at DC9 (see y'all there!), I thought it was a good idea to feature Joanna Gruesome's video for "Sugarcrush," off their debut LP Weird Sister. The spiky yet sugary contortions of the song are illustrated perfectly by the sensory overload that is the video, a mess of colors and shapes and meme mockery. Recommended viewing to get you in the mood for this evening.
