Video of The Day: Jesus and Mary Chain

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's been about three years or so since I last had the pleasure of seeing those wily Jesus & Mary Chain lads live, and in honor of their 30th anniversary Psychocandy performances, I thought it prudent to showcase a clip from said record. "Just Like Honey" is simple video art at its best, the gents sporting their all-black ensembles and tangled coifs as they churn out a lovely piece of droning, scuzzy sweetness. I will never get sick of seeing Bobby Gillespie's younger self on drums, either. A true classic.
