Singles Club: Dead Professional

Y'all know that I've been a fan of Dead Professional for a little while now, and I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that my fandom is about to balloon. You see, DP founder John Harouff is no longer flying solo, which means an even fuller sound and even more awesome live shows. Color me pleased as spiked punch.

"You Heard What You Wanted" is the newest Dead Professional offering, and it's a doozy. Harouff's voice, disarming and earnest with that certain classic something in his rich timbres, is given a buoyant backdrop of pure guitar-driven pop rock, and the resulting two minutes and forty-six seconds are nigh on impeccable. If you haven't done so yet, now is the time to keep your eye on these Virginia boys.
