Video Of The Day: Eternal Summers

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It always gives me great pleasure to see a Virginia band doing well, and Eternal Summers (hailing from those talent-making mountains of Roanoke) is indeed doing well. Somehow they're on album number 4, and the title track for said record, "Gold and Stone," happens to have a pretty great little video. I can't help but think of "Silver," from their first record, and how, while they've definitely matured, there's still the same Eternal Summers vibe that first hooked me years ago.

Enjoy the understated black and white clip (with occasional cameos by bright colors) and enjoy the song, filled with Nicole Yun's airy, wood nymph vocals and the band's irresistible popness.
