Singles Club: Heathers

Heathers the movie is one of my favorite movies. Almost an anti-Hughes kind of movie, this gleefully black comedy starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater lampoons high school and is a must-see for anyone. Why am I bringing up Heathers, you might wonder? Well friends, it's the name of our next Singles Club band. 

This LA trio shows off their delightfully fuzzed power pop intentions with "Tanker," a song about obsession, what else. Big chords and slightly throaty vocals give the song plenty of character, and the subject matter adds just the right amount of darkness. Well played, Heathers. 

The three Heathers are gearing up for a road trip pretty soon, so check their schedule to see if they're coming to your burg.
